Mercedes Benz - Senior General Accountant

Job Description

Processing payments received and managing bank accounts and credit cards.

Participates in all levels of journal entry, month-end, and fiscal close processes

Handling bank reconciliation and reconciles general ledger reports with bank statements.

Tracking and recording spare parts, maintenance and validating results.

Compiling and analyzing accounts and performing variance analysis.

Reconciles financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information

Maintains financial security by following internal controls and complying with company policies.

Prepares payments by verifying documentation, approval and requesting disbursements.

Analyze expense reports to assign payments to the proper cost centers.

Strong written and oral communication skills with different stakeholders.

Handling accounts payable cycle, work with vendors to resolve any queries and reconcile monthly statements with vendors.

Conducting accounts receivable cycle and aging report and follow up on outstanding dues.

Requirements

B.A. in Accounting
